The CEO of Atlas Petro Pouyesh Paj (A3P) highlighted the company's expertise in designing and manufacturing advanced compressors, stating that A3P's reciprocating compressors offer the highest efficiency and the capability to achieve high pressures, making them an ideal choice for various industries.
Mohammad Afkanpour, CEO of the company, explained that in reciprocating compressors, the pressure flow operates intermittently and cyclically, which is why they are also known as cyclic compressors. This technology enhances efficiency and ensures optimal performance in diverse industrial conditions.
He added that currently, foreign models of these compressors are priced at approximately €250,000, whereas domestic production of this product saves €150,000 in foreign exchange. This achievement not only benefits the national economy but also positions Iran as a key player in the compressor manufacturing industry.
According to Afkanpour, A3P's products are currently exported to Russia, and soon, compressor exports to Uzbekistan will commence. This underscores the high quality of A3P's products and their ability to compete with international brands.
He continued, stating that compressors serve as the heartbeat of various industries, playing a critical role in compressing gases such as hydrogen, natural gas, oxygen, carbon dioxide, and flare gas. A3P manufactures reciprocating compressors in both mechanical and hydraulic types, meeting the extensive needs of various industries.
Afkanpour also emphasized the company’s recent achievements, stating that A3P designed and manufactured Iran's first high-pressure reciprocating hydro-compressor, marking a milestone in the country’s industrial advancements. This technology promises greater efficiency and cost reduction in industrial applications.
The CEO of A3P stressed that one of the unique features of their compressors is significantly reduced vibration compared to foreign models, which plays a key role in extending equipment lifespan and ensuring optimal performance. Leveraging local engineering expertise, A3P is capable of producing various types of mechanical reciprocating compressors and hydro-compressors for industrial gases, with an output pressure of up to 750 bar and a flow rate of 1,000 cubic meters per hour.
He also highlighted A3P's role in CNG station services, noting that the company is on the approved vendor list of the National Iranian Oil Refining and Distribution Company. To date, A3P has successfully undertaken the construction, overhaul, maintenance, and repair of numerous CNG stations across the country.
According to Afkanpour, for the first time in Iran, A3P developed a mobile CNG refueling station, which was deployed during the Arbaeen pilgrimage to serve pilgrims. Currently, the company is working on a contract to manufacture 100 additional units of these mobile stations, which will soon be operational.
He concluded by reaffirming that Atlas Petro Pouyesh Paj (A3P) remains committed to advancing compressor technology and enhancing Iran’s global competitiveness in the field of compressor manufacturing.
