Hydraulic compressors are reciprocating compressors. In a reciprocating compressor, a
reciprocating piston moves back and forth inside the cylinder, thus transferring the energy
to the fluid and compressing the gases by forcing a volume reduction. In a reciprocating
compressor, the pressure flow is constant and intermittent, hence they are also known as
periodic compressors. The biggest advantage of reciprocating compressors compared to
other types used in industry is their high efficiency and the ability to achieve high pressures.
In this project, a hydro-compressor has been designed and built with the following
specifications. One of the applications of this hydraulic compressor is its use for mother
AND daughter stations. Compressor H40-200 is designed for daughter stations.
Hydraulic compressor features at a glance:
▪ Use of hydraulic linear drivers and actuators
▪ Oil-free compression cylinders
▪ Double action cylinders
▪ 30% reduction in energy consumption
▪ Explosion-proof electrical and control equipment
▪ Silent Operation range of 65 decibels (Silent Operation)
▪ PLC control system and the possibility of remote monitoring
▪ No need to implement a special foundation
▪ Ability to use portable on the trailer
▪ Air cooling system
▪ Comply with the requirements of API 618 standard in the design and production stages
of the compressor
▪ No need for soft starter equipment of the electric motor
▪ Higher safety of this equipment due to the lack of dynamic seals in the system structure
▪ Far lower depreciation due to lack of vibration and smooth movement of the system
▪ Ability to operate in the range of variable inlet pressures Low cost
